Microsoft Campus Agreement: Renewed Into 2016!

We are happy to announce that CIT has finalized the renewal of our Microsoft Campus Agreement site license for another three years. The renewed agreement covers all products that had been under our previous site license.

One new feature of the renewed agreement is that we will be adding the Office 365 A3 plan for staff and faculty. This license positions Cornell for the future deployment of additional cloud-based Office 365 services. The A3 plan adds the ability to fully integrate cloud-based Office services with the desktop version of Office, additional cloud storage, and other benefits.

Important: The renewed agreement comes with a new Microsoft Licensing ID number. If you run a Windows server, you will need to use the new Licensing ID number to register any Client Access Licenses (CALs). You can access that number at the CU Software Microsoft Server Products page, at:
it.cornell.edu/services/software_licensing/available/ms_server.cfm

If you encounter any trouble at all with the Microsoft license, or if you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact the CU Software Licensing Office at: cusoftware@cornell.edu.
