CIT support for Office 2013
CIT has formally announced support for the download and installation of Office 2013 for Windows, and configuration and use of the Outlook 2013 email application and Lync 2013 web conferencing and instant messaging.
Inquiries about Office 2013 have been handled on a case-by-case basis previously. The formal announcement of support coincides with:
- The introduction of the Lync web conferencing and instant messaging service, whose most full-featured version is Lync 2013.
- The availability of documentation in support of Outlook 2013.
Faculty and staff who would like Office 2013 should work with their technical support provider. Office 2013 may be installed from the Managed Desktop service and through CU Software Licensing.
